[ He disagrees. But maybe it's because religion just isn't a huge part of his life or culture. Maybe it's because he's distrusting and wary and sees no legitimate reason to trust this man. He thinks maybe people who have faith that strongly, they have to be naive. Or maybe desperate. Louis takes a seat, folding his right leg over the other and nodding towards a nearby chair in the small, private room. He's signaling that he can take a seat, if he should want. The movement is intentional, slow, and careful. It's how he does everything. ]

I don't know that I'd bank on people's faith for them to not be disruptive. I'm sure there's plenty here, like myself, that won't necessarily be stopped by being damned.

[ He glances around, then his eyes fall firmly back on the other. ]

Everything I am is here and now, that's how I have always had to live. And many of us here are like that.

Did you know there's no consequences for what you do here at home? [ This probably isn't exactly the thing he should be saying to someone, but here he is. ] I refuse to leave a place without having made a mark. Changed the way things are.

So even if I think it's irresponsible to assume that people will respect four walls for something they have no faith in, I have to respect a desire to leave something behind here.
